Buying and Selling Newfoundland Mint and Used Postage Stamps
Looking for old postage stamps or a new stamp collecting interest?
Newfoundland stopped issuing its own postage stamps when it became Canada's tenth province on April 1, 1949. But between January 1, 1857 and June 24, 1947, about 300 stamps were issued by the Newfoundland Post Office. The quality of the engraving, inks and paper was exceptional. In most cases the stamps are as clear and fresh today as the day they were printed. And although there are some rarities, the majority of these stamps are modestly priced and a fairly complete collection is possible for most stamp collectors.
I specialize in Newfoundland postage stamps for beginning to intermediate collectors, although I often have items of interest to those more advanced. The bulk of my stamps are mint but there are often used items in my stock books, so please ask if you want something special. I have an online stamp store at StampWants.com and occasionally list stamps on eBay. You can follow the links on this page.
